Our conservation grazing Herdwick Flock spends a happy and valuable life helping to manage the Trusts nature reserves and habitats for wildlife, and to provide a delight for visitors to experience.
As part of a healthy life cycle and in turn to provide a small income to support the Trusts conservation aims, we work with a local butcher to produce finest quality Herdwick lamb boxes which are seasonally available for you to purchase.
Our lamb in dry aged for 10 days to improve the flavour and tenderness off the meat and then it is expertly butchered and vacuum packed into individual cuts ready for home freezing.
Once you have placed your order, we will keep you updated as to when your lamb will be ready for collection.
Our meat is prepared by Westlands Butchers Limited near Retford from where all orders must be collected.
Our lamb is typically available between June and September.
